Genetic Origins
For all of us who are concerned about the genetic origins of our
children,
I came across this brilliant poem in a book of my eldest
daughters called
Family Poems* compiled by Jennifer Curry.
The poem
written by Jennifer Curry herself is entitled
I'm the Star.
The last
verse goes as follows -
Families come in many guises
Many shapes and many sizes
But take a good look and you'll find ME
For I'm the Star on our family tree
This encapsulates completely my own feelings as a mother of three children conceived with the help of donated eggs.
